Licensed Professional Counselor
I have been working in the counseling environment for much of my adult life and have developed a passion for helping those struggling with abuse, depression and anxiety.
My philosophy and theoretical approach places emphasis on an interactive approach to individual and group counseling focusing on the here-and-now.
I use a variety of counseling models to discover what will work best for you. These interventions include dialogue, exploration & interpretation of meaning, Solution-focused therapy, cognitive reframing, Person-centered therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Reality Therapy, awareness exercises, journal keeping, role playing, and reading books.
