What Makes This Program

Unique

We believe the key to weight loss success lies in nutrition, physicial activity, consistency, and patience. Our goal is not weight loss but fat loss, and our approach sets up our patients for long-term success.

Additionally, we utilize cutting-edge bioimpedance technology to assess body composition and create personalized nutrition and exercise plans for our patients.

If deemed necessary by our provider, patients may also receive a customized medication therapy. For patients concerned about the side effects of weight loss therapy, such as hair loss and skin laxity, we provide additional procedures and supplements to minimize side effects and ensure a smoother patient experience.

What I Can Expect From

This Program

We start with body composition measurements with the SECA scale and lab testing. With this information, our provider provides each patient with personalized best practices in exercise and nutrition, giving patients the tools necessary to make effective lifestyle changes.

If deemed necessary by the provider, patients may also receive GLP-1 injections, tailored for optimal weight management. However, no matter the plan, patients are required to have monthly visits with their provider to track progress and monitor side effects.

Patients can also access the Treatment Tracker, a user-friendly app provided by SECA that allows you to track changes in body fat and distribution, lean muscle mass, and water distribution.

The SECA scale utilizes innovative bioimpedance technology to determine aspects of body composition like total body water, skeletal muscle mass, and visceral fat.

It is quick and non-invasive, taking around 17–24 seconds. The scale simply administers a low electrical current through the patient as they stand on the scale and then measures the impedance and converts the data into estimates.

This technology helps both patients and practitioners track progress, monitor side effects, and make adjustments to treatment. This can lead to safer and higher-quality outcomes for the patient, allowing them to lose weight without worrying about negative side effects such as muscle loss.
